Miles Quinten Fiterman, ISA AM

Mr. Fiterman is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), with an expert designation in Fine Art. Mr. Fiterman is in compliance with, and adheres to, the 2012 – 2013 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of the Appraisal Foundation. Mr. Fiterman has been awarded a Master of Arts degree conferred upon him by Christie’s Education, New York, in Modern Art, Connoisseurship and History of the Art Market. Christie’s Education, New York has been designated as an independent degree-granting institution by The New York State Board of Regents, and is registered with the New York State Education Department. Mr. Fiterman is the Founder and President of Apprize Art, LLC, a Minnesota Limited Liability Corporation that provides art appraisal and consultation services to a wide range of clients including, but not limited to: individual collectors, institutional collectors, academic institutions, fine art related service providers, insurance companies, law firms, art handling and transportation companies, and art storage providers. Mr. Fiterman regularly collaborates with experts on issues ranging from identification, authentication, valuation, education, conservation, preservation, transportation, insurance, security, storage, curatorial matters, art handling, and display. Mr. Fiterman is a member of the Board of Directors of the Midwest Art Conservation Center and a Trustee of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. For more than fifteen years, Mr. Fiterman has been responsible for the daily administration and general management of an important private collection of Modern and Contemporary art. Mr. Fiterman serves on the Public Art Committee of the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York. Mr. Fiterman has provided expert testimony in United States Federal Court. Mr. Fiterman regularly performs IRS / Fair Market Value appraisals for charitable donations to museums and institutions of higher learning.
